Geeks Are In
category: Specials
They say…
GeeksAre.In is a blog/magazine where i share with the world and my friends anything geeky and interesting i find online along with my thoughts.
I wanted when the visitor arrive to get that same feeling as back in 90s when he was opening the box and connecting his new and proud to be off 28,800 modem or when he created his first GeoCities(no longer available since 26 Oct. 2009) account so he can share with the world wide web how cool his cat is. I tried to achieve this using different graphical elements and trends.
Customize it!

The installation/theme features some WordPress hacks and plugins for: featured articles where when a post is under a certain category it appears to featured section on the top of the homepage(i can assign as many featured posts as i like with the ability to display random posts upon reloading). Utilizes timthumb to automatically resize your thumbnail images. Because of this, only one thumbnail images is required per post, despite the various thumbnail sizes used in the theme. some plugins i use are WP-PageNavi , Different posts per page, my page order and more….one of my favorites is Yet Another Related Posts Plugin which it’s customized using css to be part of the whole theme.
